Crossed Keys Estate is the perfect, historic location for an elegant countryside wedding, and Julie and Lavi’s invitations were the perfect way to set the stage for their black tie wedding. Navy ink was paired with blind letterpress on double-thick cotton paper for a luxurious invitation suite.
Julie fell in love with the Harmony blind letterpress invitation, but she wanted to include a floral element. So I created a custom illustration of roses that we printed in blind letterpress along the bottom edge of the invitation. I love how blind letterpress adds texture and subtle detail to an invitation suite!
I love how black tie preferred looks pressed into the blind letterpress rose illustration! This is probably my favorite invitation detail of all time.
A coordinating RSVP card featured the same rose illustration, but this time in navy blue. Guests were able to select a meal choice on the reply card, making it easy for planning out the place cards for the wedding reception.
We finished off the invitation suite with white ink printing on navy blue envelopes. A sure way to wow your guests as soon as they open their mailbox!
