Your invitations should be

a joy to create

not a to-do list item you’re dreading

You’re stuck in an endless loop of scrolling and pinning. You don’t want a cookie-cutter template, but you don’t want to start from a blank page either.

It shouldn’t be this hard to find that classic, timeless look you have in mind: crisp letterpress, elegant typography, thick cotton paper, the freedom to add a few personal touches...

You’re getting lost in the details and feeling pressured to just choose something as the search drags on.

What if there was a better way?

the best of both worlds

CUSTOM DESIGN

redefined

Semi-custom options may feel like a step in the right direction, but it’s still not enough. You’re not interested in a one-size-fits-all design process, you want flexibility without guesswork. And I get that.

That’s why I developed a new approach to custom wedding invitations. I stripped away the fluff, added guide rails to keep decisions simple, and built a streamlined process that delivers stationery perfectly tailored to you, without the overwhelm of starting from scratch.

Introducing

MADE-TO-MEASURE

your blueprint for stress-free custom wedding invitations

Pick your foundation

The Foundational Collections allow you to preview curated looks across a full suite (save the dates, invitations, and day-of pieces). This lets you visualize how everything will fit together before you even book.

These tried and true layouts are the perfect base to build your stationery suite. With classic typography and flexible layouts, they adjust easily to accommodate a variety of wording needs.

From there, you can customize everything.

When should I order?

The first step is to schedule a consultation to receive a custom proposal.
You can also order samples so you can see the paper in person.

How do I get started?

Yes! Every suite in the collection includes examples of paper goods for your wedding day: everything from ceremony programs and place cards to thank you notes and signage. Day of stationery services are reserved for clients who have also booked their invitation suite with Banter & Charm.

Do you offer wedding day stationery?

For clients purchasing printed stationery, I offer hand drawn custom venue illustrations in a pen and ink style (see my portfolio for examples) and custom monograms.

Do you offer custom illustrations?

There is not a quantity minimum. Basic sets start at $2300 for 100 letterpress invitation suites.
As a guide, most Banter & Charm couples allocate 8-10% of their overall wedding budget (or about $5000 - $9000) for their invitation suite and wedding day paper goods.

How much should I budget and is there a minimum?

Full assembly and mailing services are available. If you prefer to do it yourself, stationery ships to you ready to assemble. Don’t worry, I provide instructions and tips!

FAQ

- Annie and John

“Working with Banter & Charm was one of my favorite memories from wedding planning.”

Above all else, Sarah is a professional, and you know it immediately. She has a lovely process for brides who can’t meet in person, and provides such helpful insight as the process evolves. On top of that, she elevated my vision and gave me a keepsake that I will always treasure. Sarah is helpful, creative and so on top of it, I am grateful for her beautiful work!
