These custom wax seal invitations for Andrea and Dennis’s New York wedding were filled with elegant details like rose gold foil and dusty purple letterpress on thick cotton paper. A vellum wrap held the invitation suite together, and we used dark purple envelopes with white ink printing to wow guests from the second they opened their mailbox!

Andrea’s vision for her wedding invitation suite included a dusty purple color combined with rose gold. She was looking for a design that was formal with a slightly vintage feel to match the elegant vibe of the Castle Hotel and Spa in New York, where the reception would be held. I love how elegant the vintage lace illustration looks in rose gold foil stamping!

Although the wedding was formal, Andrea and Dennis wanted to show their sense of humor with some funny RSVP reply options. Guests could choose from the traditional “Accepts with pleasure” and “declines with regret”, along with the witty reply options of “accepts with regret” and “declines with pleasure”. I love when couples let their personality show in their invitation suite!

Their reception card featured the same rose gold lace detail as the invitation, along with the title “Eat, Drink, and be Married”. Andrea and Dennis were having a cocktail hour in between the ceremony and reception, and wanted to make sure guests knew where to go and when at the Castle Hotel and Spa.

The invitation envelope and RSVP envelope were both a deep purple color, the perfect accent to the dusty plum and rose gold in the suite. We used white ink printing on the purple envelopes, and added a vellum folder with a rose gold wax seal to hold all the pieces of the invitation suite together.
