Christine and JanPierre celebrated their wedding at The Barn at Villa Venezia in Middletown, New York, with an invitation suite that perfectly combined timeless romance and modern luxury. Using Banter & Charm’s Veranda wedding suite as the foundation, we layered printing styles and delicate details to create a keepsake worthy of their celebration.

BLIND LETTERPRESS INVITATIONS WITH FLORAL DETAILS

The star of the suite was the blind deboss rose pattern pressed into the edges of the invitation. Blind letterpress (also known as blind emboss) creates an impression you can see and feel, without the addition of ink. The result is an understated floral design that catches the light and adds texture without overwhelming the clean, elegant typography.

A MIX OF LUXURY PRINTING STYLES

For the wording, we combined champagne foil stamping with traditional letterpress printing, giving the suite depth and dimension. The soft shimmer of the foil played beautifully against the tactile letterpress impression, striking a balance of elegance and warmth.

To bring the entire suite together, the invitations were tied with a white silk ribbon in a bow – a romantic detail that made opening the suite feel like unwrapping a gift. Soft taupe envelopes added a hint of contrast while keeping with the couple’s refined neutral color palette.
