You’ve spent months researching, comparing, and making sure every detail of your wedding reflects you as a couple.
One more thing to carry on top of everything else you’re already managing.
timeless, polished,
never overdone.
You know, without a flicker of doubt, that it’s exactly right.
No more “is this too plain, or too much?”
Just the quiet relief of having made the right call.
The invitation that was supposed to set the tone for your wedding suddenly became one more thing you’re behind on. A source of stress instead of something you were looking forward to.
And that’s the real issue: it was never about the paper. It’s that you shouldn’t have to carry these decisions alone, on top of everything else you’re already managing.
that's the point of hiring someone who does.

Shape Your Vision
Before moving into detailed proofs, I create a lookbook with typography, materials, colors, and presentation styles curated to your wedding.
Rather than asking you to choose between dozens of papers and finishes, I’ll narrow the field myself and explain my recommendations so you feel confident in every decision.

“Sarah was extremely responsive and attentive to detail,”
providing several proofs to make sure everything looked perfect and giving her expert opinion when needed. She helped us incorporate details regarding our wedding venue and so many guests commented that our stationery was the nicest they’ve ever seen.
Couples spend thousands on florals, photography, attire, and décor…
but the invitations are the only thing every single guest touches before the big day.
And yet, for most couples, invitations are the one detail that keeps getting pushed to the bottom of the list until the timeline is tighter than it should be.
Then you’re left making a rushed decision instead of the one that actually feels like you.
You’re sharing the first look of a celebration rooted in timeless tradition.
Made-to-Measure ensures that first look is unmistakably you. And it means you finally get to feel the relief that they’re done, sent, and exactly right.
with most couples investing $6000–$8000 for a complete invitation suite including printing, guest addressing, finishes, postage, and assembly.
Your envelopes receive the same thoughtful attention, custom designed to coordinate with your suite, with all addressing handled.
A custom lookbook brings together the colors, typography, materials, and embellishments that fit your vision, so you can see your direction clearly before moving into detailed proofing.
Every package includes a custom illustrated element (a venue illustration, monogram crest, or meaningful motif) paired with curated details that complement your style.
Detailed proofs refine every aspect of your suite until it feels polished, cohesive, and ready for production. We’ll fine-tune the details, so you can approve with confidence knowing nothing’s been overlooked.
You’ll receive honest recommendations and I’ll share my experienced perspective on etiquette, wording, and design direction.
With all the details refined, your only job is to approve the final proof. From there, I manage printing, production, and assembly so every suite arrives exactly as envisioned.
From recommending the best mailing method to sourcing and applying your postage, I’ll handle the details that happen after your invitations are printed.
To give each couple a truly one-on-one experience, Made-to-Measure projects are accepted on a limited basis each season.
Save the dates are best booked at least a year before your wedding, with invitations reserved 9-12 months before your wedding.

“Obsessed with how all the stationery came out. We got so many compliments—people even said they would frame our invitations, that’s how beautiful they were.”
- holly and Brian
“I wanted to thank you for your patience and thoughtfulness during the entire process. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without you.”
- Christine and JanPierre
“Sarah makes everything really easy and straightforward during the process, which took a lot of the stress off my plate… Everything was such high quality and accurately printed.”

What to expect in your
wedding invitation proposal
Your proposal reflects recommendations based on your wedding, guest count, and priorities. You’re never trying to fit your wedding into a one-size-fits-all package.
Rather than asking you to select and price every detail upfront, the proposal outlines the scope first.
As we move through the design process, we’ll finalize quantities, finishing details, and any enhancements, with a final invoice before production begins.
This approach allows for thoughtful design decisions so you can get started without having every detail figured out upfront.
And if, during the early design phase, it becomes clear that your needs would be better served by a different approach, your investment may be applied toward the service that best supports your goals.
as seen in
Nearly two decades designing for Minted and Hallmark taught me how to create beautiful invitations. Working with hundreds of couples at Banter & Charm taught me something even more important: beautiful stationery is only half the job.
The other half is giving you the guidance and confidence to make every decision along the way.
Beautiful invitations have always mattered to me. Helping couples make easier decisions is what made me love this work.
You’ve done enough researching. From here, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
You know what you like. You care about getting it right. But you’ve reached the point where you’re ready to hand the paper side of wedding planning to someone who does this every day.
If that sounds like you, I’d love to hear about your wedding.
Made-to-Measure custom invitations
start at $4500, with most couples investing between $6000–$8000 for a complete invitation suite including letterpress printing, finishes, postage, and assembly.
Most couples reserve their project 9-11 months before their wedding, with design beginning 6-7 months before the wedding date.
Booking early reserves your place on my calendar while giving us plenty of time to create your invitations without feeling rushed.
Save the dates are best booked at least a year in advance.
That’s exactly where most couples begin, and what I’m here for.
You don’t need a mood board or a fully developed vision. My process is designed to help you discover what fits your wedding through thoughtful guidance, curated recommendations, and a clear design direction before we ever begin refining the details.
That’s completely normal.
Your proposal is based on an estimated quantity, and we’ll finalize guest counts, insert cards, and other details as your plans come together. You don’t have to have every answer before booking your project.
Many custom invitation designers offer unlimited possibilities. Made-to-Measure gives you something even more valuable: expert guidance.
Every suite is created specifically for your wedding, but instead of starting with endless options, we’ll build from a clear creative direction. You’ll end up with invitations that feel unmistakably yours, without feeling responsible for every design decision along the way.
Yes. Every Made-to-Measure invitation suite includes one custom illustrated element, such as a venue illustration, monogram crest, or meaningful motif.

Yes! Ordering a sample box is a great way to see and feel the paper, printing styles, and finishing details in person. Once booked, I can send additional samples that showcase the materials and colors we’ll use in your invitation suite.

Above all else, Sarah is a professional, and you know it immediately. She has a lovely process for brides who can’t meet in person, and provides such helpful insight as the process evolves.
