Wedding invitations with calligraphy always feel like a custom work of art to me! This classic wedding invitation suite features hand calligraphy in burgundy letterpress on white cotton paper. Finished off with a monogram belly band and watercolor floral envelope liner, this invitation suite is perfect for a classic wedding at an estate in the countryside.
While the design itself is simple, elegant details elevate this to a sophisticated stationery suite.
We started off with custom hand calligraphy by Made by Meer for the bride and groom’s names, and headings on the insert cards. The watercolor floral envelope liner adds a splash of color to the burgundy envelope. Then the white ink hand calligraphy on the envelope and matching monogram tag and belly band are the perfect finishing touches for the invitation suite.
The RSVP card features hand calligraphy for the heading, along with space for your guests to select an entrée choice.
A small, business card size insert for the wedding website completes this traditional invitation. A small insert like this is also perfect for including brief details about your reception.
A letterpress monogram tag featuring the bride and groom’s names and wedding date is secured to the belly band that wraps around all the pieces in the suite. I love how the border on the monogram tag mimics the die cut edges on the invitation!
