The Spruce Saddle Lodge in Colorado was the perfect destination for Tracy and Sean’s wedding, who described their style as “mountain formal”. It was a joy creating the custom invitations for their Beaver Creek wedding!
Tracy’s wedding invitation must-haves included thick paper and a sophisticated look and feel in shades of gray. I love how it all came together! The accents of sage green in the envelope liner and belly band were a nod to the lush greenery at their mountain destination.
The formal invitation featured a border in blind letterpress on double-thick cotton paper. The couple’s names were accented in sage green letterpress, the perfect complement to the soft gray color scheme in the invitation suite.
It’s no secret that I love using little icons to represent the meal choices on a wedding RSVP! Along with choosing an entrée option, guests were also able to RSVP for various events happening during the weekend. If you’re planning a weekend destination wedding, there’s a good chance you’ll be hosting more than just the wedding ceremony and reception. Tracy and Sean also invited guests to join them for a welcome reception and a farewell brunch, and this was the perfect way to get a headcount for those extra wedding weekend gatherings!
Another essential piece of their invitation suite was this “Weekend Events” card. With details about their welcome reception, wedding ceremony, reception, and farewell brunch, guests received a weekend itinerary so they could plan their stay at Beaver Creek in Colorado. This multipurpose insert also provided a link to Tracy and Sean’s wedding website, that was filled with more details about their destination wedding and the option for guests to RSVP online.
The custom invitation suite was held together with a sage green belly band featuring the couple’s monogram. A matching green envelope liner finished off the suite.
