Bespoke invitations are a custom wedding invitation design created from scratch just for you. If you’re looking for a creative invitation you can’t find anywhere else, want to incorporate special details unique to you and your partner, or have an amazing idea for an out of the ordinary stationery suite, Bespoke is the option for you!
While I’d like to create a custom design for every couple, it’s a good idea to make sure our aesthetics match up first. My specialty is classic and traditional designs with elegant typography and minimal accents. Now that doesn’t mean I never step out of my comfort zone, but if you are looking for lifelike portraits or something with an ultra modern vibe, we may not be a good match. (But I would LOVE to recommend a fellow stationer that is!)
1. CONSULTATION
8-12 months before your wedding
Contact me to schedule your custom design consultation. We’ll get to know each other and discuss your dream invitation suite.
2. PROPOSAL & SAMPLES
8-12 months before wedding
I’ll put together a proposal with pricing and details for your custom design. I will also send you samples of materials we’ll use in your project so you can see them in person.
3. ORDER & DEPOSIT
6-8 months before wedding
Once you accept the custom proposal, you’ll send me any additional details and submit the deposit to start the order.
4. DESIGN PHASE
5-7 business days to receive first proof
I will prepare several design concepts for you to review – you’ll be able to request revisions to your chosen concept and refine the details till we come up with your full custom invitation suite.
5. PRODUCTION
2 weeks for flat printing, 4-6 weeks for letterpress or foil
Once everything is approved, I begin the production and printing phase of the order. Finally, everything will be carefully packaged and shipped to you.
