“The finished result is better than I could have imagined.”

Collaborating with Sarah on the save the date for our wedding was a positive experience from start to finish. She responded to all my messages promptly & provided her professional advice while still allowing us to partake in the design process. The finished result is better than I could have imagined and have already received so many compliments. The save the date was our guests’ first impression of our wedding & I am so glad I went with Banter & Charm to get everyone excited for our big day!

Most couples send them 6–8 months before the wedding, or up to a year in advance for destination weddings. That gives your guests plenty of time to plan and book travel.

When should I send my save the dates?

Not at all, but many brides like the coordinated look. My Foundational Collections and Styling Guides make it easy to carry a consistent feel from your save the dates all the way through to your wedding day stationery.

Do my save the dates and invitations have to match?

Yes! You can choose a photo-based layout, a non-photo design, or even a mix of the two. If you’d rather highlight a monogram, venue sketch, or other artwork, we’ll build your save the dates around that instead.

Can I include a photo?

Keep it simple: your names, wedding date, location, and “formal invitation to follow.” You can also include your wedding website if you’d like guests to have travel or hotel info early.

What information goes on a save the date?

Save the dates with photos are offered in flat printing, with the option to add letterpress or foil. Choose flat printing, letterpress, foil, or a combination of styles for non-photo cards.

What printing options are available?

They’re optional! I do recommend them for destination weddings or weddings on a holiday weekend. A save the date is your guests’ first glimpse of the celebration to come, and it sets the tone right from the start.
