When should I order my wedding invitations?
I recommend placing your order about 4 months before your wedding date, or 2 months before your mailing date. Find detailed information about the ordering process on our design process page.
How long will it take to receive my invitations?
Allow at least 4 weeks from start to ship for completion of flat print wedding orders and 8 weeks for letterpress or foil stamp orders. Finishing services, like envelope printing, die cutting, and envelope liners, require additional time.
Do you offer rush orders?
I am occasionally able to accommodate rush orders. Please inquire prior to ordering for pricing and availability.
Is there a minimum order?
There is a minimum order quantity of 50 or $200 for wedding invitations.
Can I order samples?
Yes! I highly encourage that you order samples before placing a full order.
How much do wedding invitations cost?
For a set of 100, pricing starts at $485 for flat printing, $825 for letterpress, or $1040 for foil stamping. This includes the invitation, rsvp, and blank envelopes with the standard customization options. Please view our pricing guide or request a quote for more information.
How can I keep costs down?
I’m happy to work with brides to stay within their budget! Let me know your invitation needs and budget, and I can suggest some budget-friendly options.
A few general ways to keep prices down:
– flat print some or all pieces in your order
– use one ink color for letterpress
– reserve costlier print methods (like foil stamping) for the invitation, and choose flat printing for other items
– opt for screen printing with metallic ink instead of foil stamping
– combine separate inserts into a single card
– direct guests to your wedding website with a small insert, instead of multiple inserts for directions and accommodations
What printing methods do you offer and what is the difference?
Wedding invitations are available in flat printing, screen printing, letterpress, foil stamping or a combination of the three. Please view our customization guide for a detailed look at the methods.
Can you letterpress my invitation and use flat printing for the response card?
Yes! You can choose a different printing method for each piece in your order.
Can you use flat printing and letterpress or foil stamping on the same piece?
Yes! You can combine letterpress or foil stamping with flat printing. This works great with photo save the date cards: flat printing is used for the photo portion, then letterpress or foil stamping is added for the text and accents.
What is “Blind Letterpress”?
Blind letterpress (also called “blind deboss” or “blind impress” is when a design is pressed into the paper without ink. See an example in the Harmony suite. Because a separate printing plate is made for blind letterpress, it counts as a “color” for pricing purposes.
What ink colors do you offer?
You can choose from 63 standard ink colors, along with a metallic gold and silver letterpress ink. Or upgrade to a custom color for $40.
What foil colors are available?
Choose from gold, rose gold, silver, or copper foil. Additional colors, like white, glossy black, or bright pink, are available as a custom order.
Can you change the colors shown in a design?
Absolutely! Color change is a complimentary option for all designs.
Why do the colors look different on my phone or computer than the printed invitations?
Since all monitors and screens show colors differently, colors may vary from device to device and will not match how they look printed. I highly recommend that you order a sample pack to view printed swatches of the ink colors.
What changes can I make?
Pricing for collection pieces includes changing the wording, colors, and fonts, along with your choice of printing method and paper and envelope color. View the invitation customization guide to see all your options.
What wording should I use?
The wording is completely up to you! I have put together a guide with suggestions for traditional invitation wording if you’d like sample wording.
Do you offer custom designs?
Yes! I would love to create a custom invitation for you! Visit the Bespoke wedding collection for more information.
